New England Academy is a private school in Beverly, Massachusets. The school provides a therapeutic environment for students requiring special social or emotional accommodations.
New England Academy opened its doors in 2007 and erected its current building for the 2014-2015 school year. The current building is a two-story structure of 40,000 square feet.
CSI Engineering partnered with the New England Academy’s administration during the planning and construction of the new two-story building. We performed full-scale design and engineering services for the facility’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing and fire safety infrastructures.
Our staff collaborated with the school’s administration to understand plans and goals for the new building. We used the information from these conversations to provide system recommendations and engineer comprehensive designs. Next, we consulted with building contractors to ensure accurate and compliant installation of the systems we designed.
